Biography
Pat Duggins is National Public Radio's resident "NASA Expert."
Each time the Space Shuttle blasts off, you'll hear nearly an hour's
worth of Pat's reports on NPR. He's also News Director at public
radio station 90.7 WMFE-FM in Orlando, FL and hosts 'live' coverage
of space shuttle launches which can be heard on pbs.org/wmfe. Pat
also acts as host and producer of the weekly radio newsmagazine 90.7
Notebook as well as WMFE-TV's political analysis program The
Lawmakers. Pat was also producer of 90.7's award winning documentary
The Missile Men of Apollo, which aired on over 85 public radio
stations nationwide. Pat has earned over twenty awards for
journalistic excellence in both radio and television. He hosted a TV
program on state politics that won WMFE-TV's first regional Emmy
award. Pat and his wife, Lucia, reside in College Park just North of
Orlando.
